Summertime Spotify Playlists

It is finally nearing the end of the school year and spring semester for many of us students. Do you know what that means? SUMMER!

Summertime is the long awaited break for many students. Many others look forward to summer for the warm weather and opportunity to relax poolside. It is a fun season full of play, relaxation, and livelihood. With summer quickly approaching, I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to share summertime playlists! I have not one, but TWO new playlists for you all to listen to and prep for your summer adventures.

This week, I teamed up with my classmate Juliana Miglarese, who also runs a music blog of her own, to collaborate on these two playlists. Our first playlist is one for all of your pool party needs. “Pool Party” features a variety of fun, upbeat Pop and R&B songs that will make you want to dive into the pool and have some fun with your friends. Some of the artists featured in this playlist include Justin Bieber, Harry Styles, The Weeknd, Drake, Post Malone, SZA, Jack Harlow, Megan Thee Stallion, and many more! You may just recognize many of these songs, as they are today’s chart-topping hits. So put on your bathing suit, grab your friends, a cool drink, and jump right in with this fun, energetic playlist!

The second playlist is “Windows Down Summer Country”. One of my favorite activities to do during the summer is go for a drive down back roads at sunset, with the windows down, listening to music. Typically, I listen to country music for these drives, as they are more relaxing and lyrically moving. As I know many others enjoy this same pastime, I created the perfect windows-down country playlist that will make you want to go watch the sunset and let your hair down in the wind. It features both old and new country music, along with established country artists in the industry and those who are up-and-coming. Some of the artists include Luke Bryan, Kenny Chesney, Thomas Rhett, Keith Urban, The Chicks, SJ McDonald, Chris Ruediger, and Ashley Cooke. There are many feel-good, smooth country songs to get you in your summertime groove. Start your car, roll the windows down, and begin driving. Let the adventure begin!

I am super excited and thankful I got to collaborate with Juliana this week on this blog. It is so much fun getting to share ideas and capitalize on shared interests! Juliana also has a similar music blog, Playlist with Juliana, in which she shares a variety of music-related news and curated playlists. If you haven’t already read or checked out her blog, head over to her website to see what it’s all about!

Although the semester is coming to an end, I will be continuing to update my website and blog as often as possible! Make sure you don’t miss a single post and sign up for my email list!
